Day 1: Arrival in Guatemala City

Arrive at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City. Meet and greet by your local tour guide. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the city or relaxing at your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Guatemala City to Antigua

After breakfast, drive to Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved colonial architecture. En route, visit the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology in Guatemala City. Continue to Antigua and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of Antigua, visiting key sites such as the Cathedral, La Merced Church, and the Santa Catalina Arch. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Antigua.

Day 3: Pacaya Volcano Tour

After an early breakfast, head out for a tour to Pacaya Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in Guatemala. Enjoy a guided hike to the volcanic crater and witness the volcanic activity. Return to Antigua for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit local markets and shops. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Antigua.

Day 4: Antigua to Lake Atitlán

After breakfast, drive to Lake Atitlán, often referred to as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Check in at your hotel in Panajachel or one of the lakeside villages. In the afternoon, take a boat tour on Lake Atitlán, visiting indigenous villages such as San Juan La Laguna, known for its traditional textiles and art. Return to your hotel for dinner. Overnight at Lake Atitlán.

Day 5: Lake Atitlán - Santiago Atitlán and San Antonio Palopó

After breakfast, take a boat ride to Santiago Atitlán to visit the Maximón Shrine, a unique blend of indigenous and Catholic traditions. Explore the town and its markets. In the afternoon, visit San Antonio Palopó, famous for its vibrant textiles and stunning views. Return to your hotel for dinner and enjoy the evening by the lake. Overnight at Lake Atitlán.

Day 6: Lake Atitlán to Chichicastenango and Cobán

After breakfast, drive to Chichicastenango, known for its bustling market, where you can find traditional textiles, handicrafts, and local produce. Explore the market and visit the Santo Tomás Church. Continue to Cobán and check in at your hotel. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cobán.

Day 7: Cobán - Semuc Champey and Return to Guatemala City

After an early breakfast, head out to Semuc Champey, a natural limestone bridge with turquoise pools and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a guided tour of the area, including hiking to viewpoints and swimming in the crystal-clear pools. Return to Cobán for lunch before driving back to Guatemala City. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Guatemala City.

Day 8: Departure from Guatemala City

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Guatemala City. Transfer to La Aurora International Airport for your departure flight.
