UTAH’S MIGHTY 5 EXPLORER – Rocky Mountaineer

DAY 1 : LAS VEGAS

Depart from Las Vegas Airport to your hotel. The rest of the day isfree to explore and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer on your own.
Overnight at Tropicana Las Vegas, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Resortor similar.

DAY 2: LAS VEGAS TO SPRINGDALE VIA ZION

After a leisurely morning, travel across the Nevada Desert and enjoy lunchat the beautiful Cliffside restaurant in St. George. Take a scenic ride tosee Utah’s oldest and most famous national park, Zion National Park.
Experience massive formations and towers, the Mt. Carmel Tunnel, ZionCanyon, and the Virgin River. Later in the afternoon, arrive in the town ofSpringdale. Explore the town at leisure after dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at Cable Mountain Lodge or Hampton Inn or similar.

DAY 3 : SPRINGDALE TO BRYCE CANYON

Return to Zion National Park this morning as you travel along the MountCarmel Highway through the Zion Tunnel. Next, tour Bryce CanyonNational Park, home to the largest collection of hoodoos in the world. The
vibrant colors and unearthly shapes of Bryce Canyon spark the imaginationof both young and old. Lunch will be on your own today. This evening, jointhe group for some wonderful western food and entertainment atEbenezer’s Barn and Grill followed by a private Stargazing Experience withlocal astronomers. Overnight at Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon GrandHotel or Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn or similar.

DAY 4 : BRYCE CANYON TO MOAB VIA CAPITOL REEF

Return to Bryce Canyon National Park for a morning view. Next, enjoya drive on one of America’s most spectacular roads—Scenic Highway 12.Travel through Grand Staircase—Escalante National Monument with vastexpanses of cream- and rose-colored Navajo sandstone before arriving atCapitol Reef National Park for touring and a picnic lunch under oldgrowth cottonwood trees. This evening is free to explore Moab and havedinner on your own after check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Hyatt Place
Moab or Element by Westin or similar.

DAY 5 : MOAB

Tour the highlights of Arches National Park. The unique geology of thearea created the highest concentration of natural arches in the world withover 2,000 named arches within the park boundary. Enjoy an afternoon atleisure to experience Moab's quaint downtown village and choose from
numerous restaurants for lunch and dinner. Overnight at Hyatt Place Moabor Element by Westin or similar.

DAY 6 : MOAB TO GLENWOOD SPRINGS

This morning transfer to Canyonlands National Park to visit the Island inthe Sky District including the Mesa Arch and Grandview Point. Next, takea scenic drive to Dead Horse Point State Park for a picnic lunch. In theafternoon, board the Rocky Mountaineer train. Cross the Colorado-Utahborder with stunning mountain views in the background before arriving inthe resort town of Glenwood Springs. Today’s dinner will be served on thetrain. Overnight in Glenwood Springs. Hotel to be confirmed 30 days priorto stay.

DAY 7 : GLENWOOD SPRINGS TO DENVER

Depart Glenwood Springs and continue your journey onboardRocky Mountaineer. Cross the Continental Divide as you take in thespectacular views of rugged canyons and Colorado River before arriving at
the vibrant city of Denver. Breakfast and lunch will be served on the train.Transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore Denver on your ownthis evening. Overnight at Westin Downtown Denver or similar.

DAY 8 : DENVER

Depart from your hotel for your flight home.
